“Hi, I’m Saif, I’m a photographer here in Centretown.
I’ve been living here on and off for about six-ish years, and I’m living here now, and it’s such a great time.
It’s such a great, vibrant community.
I’m always walking around the streets taking photos.
For me, photography is really all about taking photos for yourself, and the enjoyment that you get from the photos that you take are really going to be hard for someone else to really figure out, so your photo should really be for you.
And that’s something that can be lost in today’s day and age with all these metrics and social media and all of this.
So that’s what I really advocate for, is to try and take photos of your family, your life, your friends, because those photos are the ones that really mean something to you, and you’re the one who’s going to really resonate with them.
But at the same time, your perspective has something that could resonate with someone else, so it is also nice to share them with people, but really, it should be down to your enjoyment.
And so that’s what I try to advocate for.
I am always in the area taking photos and making videos about that, mostly about the art of photography and things you should be looking for and how to get better at things like that.
