“Hi my name is Nadine and I live in Ottawa for over 20 years and today I want to talk about what I’m doing right now which is I’m working as a leasing agent and I am fully aware of all of the challenges, especially this year in the last couple years that our city has faced with housing.

I see every day people coming looking for a home in every walk of life and facing all different kinds of challenges.

Sometimes it’s a sad thing, sometimes it’s a celebratory thing.

I’ve been there as well and I can completely relate to these people searching for a home and I know how important it is.

It’s one of the most stressful things that a person can live through and here in Ottawa we have so many large construction companies who are working tirelessly around the clock trying to compensate for that need and I’m lucky enough to be able to help individuals who come in and search for their next new home and I’m happy to say that I do see a lot of people finding what they’re looking for and there’s more to come in Centretown on Catherine Street.

I know there’s going to be huge complex there and more housing on the way and I hope that I am always here around to you know if you guys need help finding a place or you just need to talk about the stress of moving you guys should like reach out to me I’m on Instagram you’ll see I’ll have tons of information and I often include some photos and videos of where I’m leasing as well.”

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
