“Everyone has a story.

What’s yours?

My name is David D. Pistol.

I’m a visual storyteller, creative, and artist.

I’ve done a few documentations of a few of the murals that have gone up in Centretown.

One that is currently up, that Allan André did recently, and the other one that was down Bank in Lisgur, where the Jimmy Baptiste, Kalkidan, and Allan André did a piece during the during the pandemic.

I believe everyone has a story.

I believe that stories matter, and I believe documenting them are essential.

And I find that Centretown has some of the most amazing stories in the city, and just the diversity and the eccentric flow that that the area brings is really amazing.

I hope, you know, in the future that I’ll be able to work with other creatives, other businesses in Centretown, just given the vast amount of stories there are to tell.

And I want to tell everybody’s story.

I feel everybody has a voice and everyone should be able to express it, and I would love to do that through my lens.

So, you know, hit me up on Instagram, David D. Pistol, and let’s tell your story.”

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
