Prohibition Public House

Meet Matt Loudon

Meet Matt, the passionate owner of Prohibition Public House located at 337 Somerset with 23 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Matt’s dedication and passion for the industry is showcased in every aspect of his work. From overseeing daily operations to personally ensuring each guest has a memorable experience, Matt is one of  the many driving forces behind Prohibition’s success since the opening in 2016.

Behind the Scenes at Prohibition

Matt’s role extends far beyond the typical duties of a restaurant owner. As you could imagine for most business owners they’re a jack of all trades and that’s no exception for Matt. From running the hiring process to serving as bartender and dishwasher when needed, Matt does whatever it takes to keep Prohibition running smoothly. Despite the ups and downs of the industry, Matt always finds motivation in the smiles of satisfied guests and the opportunity to connect with new people every day.

“What keeps me motivated is the guests smiling faces while enjoying a meal at Prohibition. Hearing the laughter from them day in and day out. Getting to meet so many amazing people every single day at work.”

Prohibition Public House Is An Experience
