The Pink Flamingo

Mique Michelle, a talented Franco-Ontarian muralist, created this stunning piece titled Pink Flamingo, which you can see below. Mique drew inspiration for this piece from the Pink Flamingo group. Founded by Black activists, the advocacy organization organizes events, seminars, safe spaces, and educational opportunities to empower the QTBIPOC in Calgary. Mique, a graduate of the Ottawa School of Art, has honed her skills as a mixed media artist over the years. She now works as an active arts facilitator for the city, combining her passion for the arts with her commitment to the betterment of the community.
