Description

To support their record release, Toronto-based experimental bedroom pop project Wedding, inspired by acts like The Beach Boys and Alex G, is touring throughout the summer of 2025 across Canada, with various local support. Performing with Wedding at Art House will be Tea ‘n’ Oranges hailing from Ottawa.
Bios
Hailing from Kelowna, B.C., 22 year-old Walt Mudie seeks to express the ambiguity present in everyday life through melody, rhythm, & texture. The Wedding sound is littered with contrasting stylistic choices. Washy electronic music, angular indie rock, and alternative hip hop all peek through the haze in Mudie's eclectic production, pointing to his experiences working in each respective musical style. His music is as much inspired by dreamy acts, like Broadcast and Alex G, as it is by acoustic music, such as Andy Shauf and Joni Mitchell.
Accolades
Wedding have toured across Canada, playing small clubs in BC, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. Played shows to 100+ in hometown of Toronto.

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
