Featuring The Desert Island Big Band & The Mirage, Sociably High, Voices Dance Project, Spencer Cuddington, and Late Night Vintage
On September 6th, 2024 escaped demon Chamberlin AKA the Bear Man was dragged down to the underworld by the Go-Go-Ghouls. This Halloween, as the veil between the spirit world and the world of the living is at its thinnest, the cannibal cult leader has broken through again—and he’s hungrier than ever.
Join us for our second annual Kick Me Records event, co-presented with Voices Dance Project. This year’s event features music from The Desert Island Big Band & The Mirage, the debut of Sociably High (members of Unsociably High), a pop-up from Late Night Vintage, a photo booth by Jess Pepin, and a DJ set from Spencer Cuddington to round out the night. Costumes encouraged!
There will be a “best dance moves” competition judged by the Go-Go-Ghouls during the Desert Island Big Band set. Winners will have their choice of Kick Me Records merch, Desert Island Big Band merch, or free admission to a Voices Dance workshop!

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.
The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
