Description

The Ottawa Improv Festival is an annual festival featuring improvised comedy from talented local, national and international performers. The festival consists of two nights of shows that will have audiences laughing up a storm as they witness hilarious performances created on the spot. In addition to the shows, the festival also includes an all-levels improv jam and an array of workshops on topics like Clownprov, sketch and solo improv. After an extended hiatus (the last festival was March 2020), we are so excited to be bringing improv back to the big stage in the nation's capital.

The festival is produced by Ottawa's only improv theatre school, the Improv Embassy, a volunteer-run non-profit.

Location

355 Cooper St, Ottawa, ON K2P 0G8, Canada

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
