Featuring Mary-Hope, Kaiday, & The Extensions
Mary-Hope:
Mary-Hope is a singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia who currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario. Their music blends indie-alternative, Canadiana, and emo-folk styles to produce deep and meaningful narratives. Striving to be completely transparent in their lyricism, Mary-Hope transforms her own personal experiences into lighthearted earworms, in hopes that others will connect with her music. Her works touch on elements of homesickness, grappling with self-identity, as well as the love and loss of family and friends.
Kaiday:
Kaiday is a bilingual singer songwriter born and raised in Ottawa. Her songs pull together a unique blend of folk, Rnb and pop. Sharing her stories with authenticity and vulnerability all while combining her Franco-Ontarian roots and English upbringing. Kaiday’s music is a collection of her heartbreaks, growing pains, and self discovery.

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.
The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
