Born in Ottawa’s underground scene, Saturn Sunrise is more than a band — it’s a resurgence of emotion, energy, and truth. Blending driving rock rhythms with melodic hooks and heartfelt lyrics, they turn real stories into anthems for anyone who’s ever felt everything all at once. From basement jams to festival stages, Saturn Sunrise is proof that passion still cuts through the noise.
Motherland:
What started off as garage rock has influenced and evolved with the Ottawa music scene. Motherland was formed in Ottawa, Ontario by high school friends Athanasios Kioulos and Gabriel Leger. After high school, they met Alex Evans at Algonquin College in 2017. The trio practiced and performed consistently until global pandemic struck in 2020. Jackson Steele, a mutual friend, joined the band when they reunited in 2022
