Description

Ring in the season with a holiday concert in Ottawa! Inspired by PBS’s A Carnegie Hall Christmas Concert (1991), Gala Noël is an elegant and multifaceted evening capturing the festive spirit with a signature Chamberfest twist. Audiences can expect a dazzling showcase of classical chamber music, opera, and jazz, brought to life by outstanding Canadian artists from coast to coast to coast—performing festive favourites that radiate the warmth and joy of the season.

This year’s Gala Noël also proudly highlights the 40th anniversary of the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank, honouring its remarkable contribution to the development of Canada’s finest string players. In tribute to this legacy, the concert will spotlight current Instrument Bank laureates, celebrated alumni, and esteemed guest performers from across the country.

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
