Kashgar:
Kashgar is a progressive fusion six-piece headed by Marcus Taylor from the limestone city of Kingston, Ontario in Canada. Weaving together a vibrant mix of rock and jazz with rhythms and melodies from India, the Middle East and Latin America, Kashgar offers a compellingly original sound. Once described as “Carlos Santana jamming with Jesse Cook in John McLaughlin’s favourite curry house”, you can sample Kashgar’s compelling musical mix live or on all reputable (and many disreputable) streaming services.
