This year's Fall Festival, co-hosted by the Centretown Community Association and the Centretown Community Health Centre, will be held at Dundonald Park (at Somerset St. & Lyon St.) on Saturday, September 21st from 10 am to 2 pm (rain date: Sunday, September 22nd). The Fall Festival will officially celebrate the start of the fall season.
The official program will include an opening ceremony from Indigenous elder, Vince Kicknosway, storytelling with the Ottawa Public Library, performances from the University of Ottawa a capella group Achezzo, a vegetable seed saving demonstration from the Centretown Grassroots Group, an interactive drum circle, and more!
Many local organizations will showcase their work in the community. Festival attendees will be able to learn more about the work of the Master Gardeners of Ottawa-Carleton, the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library, Safe Wings Ottawa, the Ottawa Community Land Trust, the new Alternate Neighbourhood Crisis Response (ANCHOR) team, GentleWays for Our Planet, many CCA committees, and more!
Bring the entire family for a fun-filled event of music, art and community driven activities! There will be popcorn, treats, boxed drinks and coffee!
