Description

Come join us for a cool Christmas linocut workshop led by a local expert! Learn how to turn your designs into lino prints #linocutworkshop

Celebrate the holiday season with a festive Linocut Printing Workshop! In this session, you’ll carve and print your very own Christmas-inspired design featuring charming snow bears to wear or share. Bring a T-shirt, tote bag, or fabric item of your choice (smooth fabrics work best, though sturdier fabrics like jeans also work). You’ll learn how to transfer your design, carve safely, and hand-print onto fabric, creating a unique wearable artwork that’s cozy, creative, and full of holiday cheer.

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
