Description

Take the Plunge, Ottawa!

This February 14th–16th, step out of your comfort zone and into icy waters at the Centretown Cold Plunge, hosted at Uncommon (140 Bank St.) in the heart of the city! Presented by Centretown BIA, Submerge Wellness, Uncommon, and Winterlude, this unforgettable Winter experience combines bold fun with community impact.

The challenge? Stay in the cold plunge for as long as you can (3 minutes max). Make pledges to see how long you can last- 3 minutes is the goal, and compete to raise the most money for a chance to win an incredible sauna starter pack from @submerge.wellness—including a sauna tent, stove, rock basket, and rocks, valued at $2,286!

All pledges raised during the event will go directly to the Centretown Community Health Centre and Centre 507, supporting essential programs in our community.

To enhance your experience, we’ll also be partnering with Susan Benoit for guided breathwork during the plunge and Anaanda Elixirs for some delicious mocktails to enjoy post-plunge.

People are racing to register, so don’t miss out! Find all event details and sign up through the website.

Centretown would like to acknowledge that Ottawa is built on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation.

The Anishinaabe Algonquin peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place. We also recognize the contributions of Métis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening this community in particular, and our province and country as a whole.
